Goodbye School, Hello Hospital

These past few days have been crazy. Monday was the last day of the school semester. I took my math final and ended up with a B in the class. I wanted an A but kind of bombed the test before the final so I'm happy with the B. In my English 2 and Biology classes I got an A. So I did well in my last semester.

That same night my mom was walking Jeter and got bit by something. Her finger started to swell up like a balloon right away. It turned blue so we went to the ER and were there for 4 hours. She was having an allergic reaction but the doctor didn't seem to care because he just pulled out a "stinger" (Which I don't think it was a stinger, she clearly got bit). He was with us for 4 minutes and then let us go home. It felt like he wanted to tell my mom to get over it. But guess what? The next morning when she woke up her finger was still swollen, she couldn't bend it and there was a black blood looking blister on her finer. On Wednesday it was bigger and I haven't seen it today but the way its been grown I bet its bigger. I almost want to go back to the doctor and show him her finger and rub it in his face and say "Oh this looks like nothing?" Whatever bit her was venomous. I just hope it gets better soon because it looks so narly.

Since then I have started to look for a job. I have applied at Walmart for an office position and am looking on Craigslist for openings. Hopefully I'll be able to find something because the long I don't do anything the more comfortable I'll be with that and the harder it will be to get back into a grove. So fingers crossed.

Math Overload

Today was a good day. It was hard though. Went over to my cousin Rob's house where he helped me with some math that I needed to learn for my upcoming test #4 and final. He tutored me for 4 hours. I have never spent that much time on math before in my life. It totally blew my mind but I think it all soaked in and I actually know what I am doing now. Thank God, maybe I'll pass my math class now.

After the 4 hours of math we were going to see a movie. We wanted to see Titanic 3D but it was gonna cost $13 to see it. That's crazy! And I found out that the price of a regular movie went up to $9.50. It was only $8.50 three weeks ago when I went to see the Hunger Games. Its just insane, That's why I wait to buy everything on DVD. Pay $20 and you can watch all you want.

We did end up talking about the first time we saw Titanic 15 years ago in the movie theaters. He talked about how he saw it with a friend and he was embarrassed by his friend because he kept giggling during the Kate Winslet nudity scene. Then I was a dummy and told him that the first time I saw it in the theater I was scared that the movie theater was going to fill up with water when the ship sank so my dad and I sat at the top of the theater to avoid the water. HEY! I was like 9 or 10 I didn't know but he found this hilarious so I will probably never hear the end of this story of a while.
